Ascertia, a global leader in PKI and digital trust, is excited to announce the appointment of Pieter Rensburg as its Chief Digital Officer (CDO).

No stranger to Ascertia, Pieter is stepping into the role from his previous position as Customer Experience and Quality Director. He will play a central part in shaping Ascertia’s product division, driving innovation, and ensuring our solutions deliver lasting value to the industry.
Our new CDO will be responsible for leadership, vision and strategy across our solutions portfolio, which includes SigningHub, Digital Identity Verification, EUDI Wallets, AI, integrations and hosted solutions. The role also encompasses product operations, innovation, digital transformation and commercial impact.
In practice, Pieter will oversee product performance, customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. He will define product roadmaps that align with partner needs and industry developments, lead the Product Operations team with a focus on internal and external effectiveness, and champion continuous improvement and collaboration. He will also accelerate innovation in key areas such as AI, integrations and identity verification, while fostering a culture of prototyping, agility and forward thinking.

Pieter most recently served as Ascertia’s Customer Experience and Quality Director, having been announced in the role in June 2023. He brings nearly 13 years of experience working with Ascertia’s products, together with a strong background in PKI, product quality and customer experience.
This is an exciting step forward for both Pieter and Ascertia. His leadership in product strategy, operations and innovation will ensure the company continues to strengthen its position as a leader in digital trust.
