We are pleased to announce that we have signed a global distribution agreement with Entrust Datacard, a leading provider of trusted identity and secure issuance technology solutions. The agreement cements a long-standing relationship between us and Entrust Datacard after winning numerous business deals together worldwide. The global agreement covers Ascertia's ADSS Server and includes the server modules for digital signing, OCSP validation, SCVP validation and timestamping.

Our ADSS Server products complement and add significant value to Entrust Datacard’s solutions. Customers of Entrust Authority Security Manager will be able to purchase these complementary products to:

  • Digitally sign documents, transactions and data in adherence to industry standards to ensure long-term validity and independent evidential proof
  • Ensure they have effective certificate validation monitoring in place, using real-time whitelist checking of digital certificates used within the business
  • Set up high-trust timestamping which is essential for providing independent, irrefutable ‘proof of time’ for transactions, documents, and digital signatures

In addition, our ADSS Server product will be Common Criteria EAL4+ certified by January 2019 in order to be fully compliant with the EU eIDAS requirements for Qualified Remote Signing with Level 2 Sole Control – the highest level of trust for electronic signing. A number of EU Qualified Trust Service Providers already use Ascertia’s solutions.

“Ascertia’s ADSS Server products were selected for their ability to add value to new and existing Entrust Datacard PKI solutions. It is essential to work with trusted partners like Ascertia as we deliver complete PKI solutions. We look forward to continuing to deliver world class solutions with Ascertia” said Matt Hur, director of product management, PKI at Entrust Datacard.

“We are delighted to be working with Entrust Datacard. They are the dominant high-trust PKI provider in the market, have an impressive install base and continue to invest in this area. Our product and solutions are a great fit with those from Entrust and we have already won several projects working alongside, and also more recently, via Entrust,” said Rod Crook, Managing Director, Ascertia.
