ADSS Web RA Server 2.9 developments

ADSS Web RA Server 2.9 is a major release full of new and important features for Ascertia’s customers and partners. These updates include:

Microsoft Intune Integration
  • ADSS Web RA Server introduces support for Microsoft Intune, a cloud-based endpoint management, via SCEP. Microsoft Intune SCEP support enables organisations to easily integrate ADSS Web RA Server with the Microsoft Intune platform to issue and manage digital certificates for devices and users.
  • Users now have the ability to utilise the Microsoft InTune My Company Portal App to easily register for digital identities. This enables them to sign and protect email messages, digitally sign documents on the go, authenticate to wireless networks and to business applications in place of a user ID and password.
TLS Certificate Allowed Domain List
  • ADSS Web RA Server is an integral tool for enterprise and trust service providers to issue and manage TLS certificates to internal and external web servers, application servers and network load balancers.
  • ADSS Web RA Server offers comprehensive support for issuing and validating EV, OV, and DV certificates, including capabilities for Certificate Transparency publication to CT log servers.
  • Administrators and enterprise owners are now empowered to introduce extra security measures through the system, preventing the misissuance of TLS certificates by ensuring no certificate is issued with incorrect domain and subdomain information.
Enrolment Workflow Customisations
  • Onboarding a user requires multiple steps and can require them to provide documents and information as part of the enrolment process. At times, users need guidance on each step of the process.
  • ADSS Web RA Server now simplifies this by allowing Enterprise owners to customise and provide guidance at every step of the onboarding process. ADSS Web RA allows administrators to create a fully customised user journey to provide guidance and context to each and every step of the enrolment process.
OpenID Connect (OIDC) support for authentication and Registration
  • National Identity Programs, TSPs and Enterprises perform robust eKYC checks as part of delivering credentials to users that grant them access to resources. Large projects are increasingly looking to OpenID connect as part of their IDP solutions.
  • Web RA now offers support for Enterprises to leverage OpenID connect by integrating it into an existing identity provider, automatically collecting information about users to simplify the onboarding process.

This update includes numerous additional features and enhancements designed to enhance the ADSS Web RA Server for our partners and customers. We encourage you to review the release notes and product documentation for more details.
