Iron Mountain’s customers expressed the need for both M-Files users, as well as those who do not have direct access to M-Files, to be able to digitally sign documents. This add-on feature would ensure all users - regardless of their access level to the M-Files system - can participate in secure and legally binding electronic signing processes.
Selection process:
Following a SigningHub solution presentation by JCC Payment Systems, a QTSP based in Cyprus, Iron Mountain decided to integrate with SigningHub. It chose Ascertia’s signing solution as leveraging its APIs was extremely easy and the solution met all the customers’ requirements, including:

Solution:
By leveraging SigningHub APIs, companies and organisations using the M-Files system could now initiate workflows via JCC SigningHub and request Qualified or Simple eSignatures in under one minute. The signatories are informed via customisable emails via the company’s JCC SigningHub enterprise account, and they can sign documents with a single click.
The company can also receive a workflow evidence report from JCC SigningHub, providing a detailed audit trail of the entire workflow - from beginning to completion. Extra layers of authentication can be added using a passcode or email/SMS one-time password for signatories to access and sign the required document. Every workflow can be monitored according to its progress, and reminders can be automatically sent if a signatory delays the process completion.
The whole process can be handled by M-Files automatically, and it ensures that signatures cannot be altered and cover any legal requirements.
